Don’t envy bad people; don’t even want to be around them. All they think about is causing a disturbance; all they talk about is making trouble.

Be not thou envious against evil men, Neither desire to be with them. For their heart studieth destruction, And their lips talk of mischief.

Do not be envious of evil men, Nor desire to be with them; For their minds devise violence, And their lips talk of trouble.

Don’t envy evil people or try to be friends with them. Their minds are always planning violence, and they always talk about making trouble.

Be not thou envious against evil men; Neither desire to be with them: For their heart studieth oppression, And their lips talk of mischief.

Do not envy the wicked, do not desire their company; for their hearts plot violence, and their lips talk about making trouble.

Don’t envy the wealth of the wicked or crave their company. For they’re obsessed with causing trouble and their conversations are corrupt.
