Matendo ya Mitume 27:23-24

The holiday season can be a time of joy and laughter and togetherness. It can also be a time of sorrow and struggle and the storms of life. If you’re going through a storm at this time of year, it can even seem magnified. But God can help you to thrive in troubled times and bring you through the storm to victory!

Storms are inevitable—but they are also invitations to transformation. In this 3-day devotional journey, you will journey through three different storm stories in Scripture that reveal powerful truths about Jesus, expose the condition of our faith, and awaken fresh hope. Each day seeks to bring revelation through these storm stories and unpacks the internal narratives, mental health implications, and spiritual revelations that help us weather life’s fiercest tempests. Learn to anchor your soul, steady your mind, and strengthen your faith—because peace isn’t the absence of storms but the presence of a Saviour.

Skydiving, bear wrestling, eating nachos right before riding a roller coaster… All these things require COURAGE! As we live out and share our faith in Jesus, we can find courage in knowing that God is always with us and He is bigger than our problems! Join in to learn how you can grow in courage today!

Our world is filled with storms. These storms can overwhelm us and pull us away from our calling. When we hear the words, “Everything will be okay,” they are not always the words we want to hear. But if we can, for a moment, direct our thoughts towards the One who makes everything okay, we will realise that those words are not too far from reality.
