Proverbs 9:13

Among the many wise sayings in the book of Proverbs, the warning against sexual temptation and its destructive consequences rings loud and clear to all interested listeners. Join us in this 5-day reading plan to read and reflect on key passages on sexual immorality and adultery. Guard your heart and renew your mind with God’s Word.

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Explore how the Trinity was present at creation, and Jesus’ unique role as the Logos, the incarnate Word. The biblical teaching of creation also provides a basis for truth, morality, science, and a life of meaning and hope. This devotional will encourage you and deepen your faith.

This 5-day journey invites you to pause and examine your life. Are you walking in wisdom? Are your decisions and daily actions shaped by the principles of God's Word? What does your life reveal? Over these five days, allow the Holy Spirit to search your heart, expose areas that need growth, and lead you into greater wisdom. As you reflect, ask yourself: What changes am I willing to make to align my life with God's wisdom and His divine order?

Discipleship works against fear. As we obey God’s commands, we entrust ourselves to him. Like the students attending the schools founded by D. L. Moody in Northfield, MA, God’s people “are encouraged to test the meaning and value of the Bible’s teachings experimentally, by acting upon them, and living them out.” As we “test experimentally” the word of God, we will find that we will have fewer and fewer reasons to be afraid.
