Tasuta lugemisplaanid ja palveraamatud seoses Matthew 5:35

This plan will take you on a Biblical journey exploring the truth about Jesus being Perfect!

Can you trust a book written thousands of years ago? What about the odd laws and difficult passages? This three-day Plan takes those questions seriously. You’ll explore what the Bible is meant to do, how Jesus helps Christians understand ancient laws, and why Scripture can still offer wisdom today.

At the core of it, discipleship is taking care of and tending all the things Jesus commanded us. Yet how can we know what to do if we don't know His words? That is why we're exploring all of Jesus' words across the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Each day includes a Bible narration from Ps Mark Varughese of the words of Jesus. NOTE: the translation used in the narration is the New King James Version.

Do you need clarity on the biblical teachings about oaths and swearing? Have you ever heard the real meaning behind these commands? Words are important, and that means we have to be intentional and wise in the way that we communicate. In this 4-day devotional, Rick Renner explains the intentions behind Jesus’ teaching against oaths and rash speech to impress upon you the power — and danger — of your words.

Do you want more OF God? Or more FROM God? In this 5-day devotional, renowned theologian and author R. T. Kendall challenges you to seek the Benefactor, not just the benefits. Learn to desire more of God, not for personal gain, but for an enriched relationship with Him.

Through both Old and New Testament readings, you will discover why God sent Jesus, what Jesus taught, how he treated people, why he did miracles, the meaning of his death, the significance of his resurrection, and what the Bible says about his second coming.

Consumed by modern-day conveniences and entertainment, we are formed by that which we behold. Yet, as Christians, we are called to be conformed to Christ, which includes rediscovering the truth, goodness, and beauty of God. This five-day devotional from Coleman Ford helps quiet the distractions and redirects your focus to the gospel message, which is full of truth, goodness, and beauty and is powerful to make you whole and flourishing.

Holidays can be very triggering and difficult when we love someone in addiction. The season brings a mix of feelings and stress, and we can often lose the joy and excitement the holidays should bring. But it doesn’t have to be this way! Amy LaRue of Finding Hope lays out practical, scriptural ways not just to survive the holidays but THRIVE.

Perhaps the most famous speech ever given, this relatively small collection has shaped the lives of billions, and in many ways created the world we see around us today. Together we'll look at how Jesus' Sermon can be used as a blueprint for us to live our lives to its absolute fullest.

Matthew 5 ends with a statement from Jesus that is both incredibly clear and incredibly nerve-wracking: “You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48 ESV) Wait… what? If perfection is the standard, then we may as well quit now, right? Prayerfully, as we study Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:17-48, we will see how understanding His perfection helps us live lives that, though imperfect, stand out from the world and point other broken people to Him!

What does real success look like in God’s kingdom? In this 5-day plan, discover Jesus’ teachings on humility, forgiveness, compassion, and living for God rather than the approval of others.

Christians often have this misconception that the Old Testament Law is irrelevant, but that was not Jesus’ approach to the Law. After establishing the significance of the Law in Matthew 5:17-20, Jesus proceeded to expound on how specific laws were meant to be lived out. In fact, Jesus actually intensified them to reveal their heart requirements. The truth is, beyond the surface observance of external rules, the Law was meant to point God’s people towards underlying attitudes required of them.

It’s important to know Jesus and what is important to Him so we understand our need for Him. Reflecting on what Jesus taught in the Sermon on the Mount, will help us draw closer to Him. This is part six of eight in the "Jesus, I Need You" series by Thistlebend Ministries. These plans can be done in any order. See also" Jesus, I Need You" (companion prayer).
