Tasuta lugemisplaanid ja palveraamatud seoses Acts 11:28

For much of the world's population, disasters are part of life. Some make the international news headlines, but many don't. Perhaps, you're facing a disaster that has hit your community. In the aftermath, hope can be hard to find. YouVersion partner Tearfund is an aid agency that responds to disasters. In this set of bible studies, Tearfund shares some of its learning on what to do when disaster strikes.

God is on the move. Never tied down, God leads from new places. This 5-day plan is designed to help you discern God-on-the-move, and how to respond. It continues a journey through the book of Acts, the Bible’s gripping sequel of Jesus at work in the life of his followers as he expands his kingdom to the ends of the earth. It’s a journey on what it means to be a Christian. It’s a story in which you have a role to play.

This devotional examines God’s attitude toward lack and the believer’s responsibility in responding to it. Scripture reveals that lack is not God’s intention, poverty is not a measure of spiritual worth, and generosity is central to Christian life. Drawing from Eden, Christ’s ministry, the early church, and apostolic teaching, we learn that God responds to lack with provision, dignity, action, responsibility, and grace—and calls His people to mirror His response faithfully.

This devotional invites you into the reality of Acts 2:17–18, where the Holy Spirit empowers sons and daughters to prophesy, discern, and walk in divine wisdom. Through Scripture, testimony, and practical activation, you will learn to partner with the Holy Spirit in shaping your children’s destinies, discerning their hearts, and establishing God’s purposes in your family. Step into the realm of prophetic parenting and experience the limitless possibilities available through the Spirit of prophecy.

Many believers love the prophetic but lack the grounding to handle it accurately. This plan teaches how Scripture governs every prophetic word, why the human will must never drive prophecy, and how the Holy Spirit confirms His leading in both the prophet and the believer. Through examples from Peter, Agabus, and Paul, you’ll learn how true prophecy edifies, aligns with God’s will, and avoids manipulation. Across five days, you’ll discover how to discern, interpret, and walk in mature, Spirit-led prophecy. Whether you’re called to the prophetic or simply want clarity, this plan brings grounding, accuracy, and transformation.

This Lent season, journey through the Holy Land with Dr. Jim Denison in this six-day devotional, excerpted from his book To Follow in His Footsteps. In this vivid and thorough guide through a few significant landmarks to the Christian faith, you will virtually walk where Jesus walked and come away with a new appreciation for all God has done and continues to do in our world.

We will look at eight economic disasters recorded in the Bible which resulted in severe famine. Famine was an ending – the result of disobedience and sin – and a beginning, a potential turning point toward a better, more faithful future. Financial problems form an opportunity for change and a chance for a new beginning. What can we learn from these economic disasters for our own situation today?

Explore the Book of Acts in a 6-day plan and gain a fresh perspective on persecution in the New Testament. Understand how early Christians viewed challenges, not as hindrances, but as opportunities to advance the gospel. Learn from their response of prayer, perseverance, and bold witnessing transforming trials into triumphs for God's kingdom. This devotional plan redefines the concept of persecution, encouraging a proactive and empowered approach to faith.

Explore the Book of Acts in a 6-day plan and learn from the apostles' humility, character, and self-sacrifice, reflecting Jesus’ call for leaders to first and foremost be servants. Amidst modern challenges of leadership in the church, this plan offers biblical insights into nurturing communities and advancing God’s mission, inspiring Christlike leadership today.

In this six-day plan, we walk through Acts 8–12 and explore how God continues to build his church through unlikely people, unexpected circumstances, and faithful obedience. From the scattering of believers and the salvation of outsiders, to the dramatic conversion of Saul, the inclusion of the Gentiles, and the mystery of answered and unanswered prayer, these chapters show that God’s mission cannot be stopped. You’ll be invited to trust God’s purposes when life feels uncertain and grow in courage, humility, and faith as you follow Jesus wherever he leads.

In our second devotional on this powerful God-given gift, we dive deeper into revelation, wisdom, and understanding of the Gift of Prophecy. If you're hungry to grow in the things of the Spirit this devotional will help you do just that.

In this men's devotional, we journey through the Book of Acts, hitting on its major themes as we see God's great power at work in His Church through the power of His Spirit. Written by J.R. Hudberg.

Some Christians delight in the subject of spiritual gifts, while others get nervous. Nobody wants to be weird, but nobody wants to miss out on what God has in mind for his church either. The apostle Paul wrote, “Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed” (1 Cor. 12:1). This nine-day reading plan is a “tour” of the nine gifts he listed later in that chapter. Each day gives a brief definition, an example from the early (first-century) church, and then a second example from here and now in our time.

We all know that we should read our Bible, pray, and be the church, but what if we actually started doing that? Zúme Accountability Groups are small groups of 2 to 4 people that don’t just want to be hearers of the word, but doers! The invitation is to re-evaluate our own vision, to be healed from emotional fragments, and to be freed from the dogmas and sophisms that characterize our minds and, consequently, our perspective.

What is a disciple? What is the point of discipleship? Is it just a programme to follow, or is it something more, something deeper that we continually walk in alongside Jesus, letting him shape and lead us? Come and explore discipleship with us in this plan.

What does it mean to live a life when God's Holy Spirit speaks? Following Part 1 of our "Led by the Spirit" devotion, we will now travel through Acts 9-19 and witness how the Holy Spirit continues to work in the life of Paul in extraordinary ways. These devotions will unpack the Spirit’s guidance, bold miracles, and the early disciples' powerful testimony. Learn how you, too, can be a vessel for God’s work and be moved by the same Spirit that ignited the early church.

Similar to your basic training, this plan will challenge you to get spiritually fit in God’s Word.

Every successful mission starts with a vision and a group of people united to fight for it. We seek justice, order, equality, and peace in hopes of creating a better world. God’s vision is to heal a broken world, and he uses the Church to accomplish wholeness. In this study, you will learn about God’s ultimate plan for his people and how his sovereignty throughout history is accomplishing his mission.

(Part two of a four part journey through the Books of Acts.) Even in (and especially in?) hard times, God is present and is working to build His Church. We can find encouragement in this. When circumstances force us to pivot, we don’t have to lose heart - God is with us.

The book of Acts shows us how God used the disciples in the days after Jesus’ ascension to impact the world with the power of the Gospel message. We hope as you read, you’ll realize we are also called to be witnesses to the gospel of Jesus Christ and empowered with the Holy Spirit to go into this world.
