The Best: Part 2
The book of Proverbs provides wise instruction and encouragement for the people of God. Over the course of eight days, we will study the path of God’s revealed wisdom in our relationships and our responsibility to better understand how to skillfully navigate the storms of life.
Jesus promised his followers that they never had to walk in fear because He overcame the worst this world could bring against them. Over the course of 11 days, we will examine Romans 5-8 to better understand how following Jesus Christ enables us to live free from fear, failure, demands, and death itself.

Signs & Wonders
As we read through the Gospels, we see the divine power of Jesus Christ displayed in miracle after miracle. Interestingly, the Gospel writer John takes care in calling Jesus’ miracles “signs and wonders” because they point to a greater spiritual reality behind the person and purpose of God. Over the next 6 days, we will see the various signs Jesus performed in John and what they say about him.
Suffer Well: How Scripture Teaches Us to Respond in Suffering
When we experience suffering it can be difficult to know how to respond. Our hearts ache; we feel lost and alone. Let’s look at the Word and see examples throughout scripture of how to suffer well.
Though we live in a fast-paced, success-driven culture, we recognize the detrimental effects of burnout caused by the constant need to be productive. God sets the primary example of resting from work at the beginning of Genesis and then provides the Sabbath for his people. We seek rest in order to maintain a healthy relationship with our own self, with others, and with our work.
The Spiritual Disciplines are one of the greatest paths to Christlikeness that God has given us. In this 8 day devotional, our goal is to refocus our minds on the Spiritual Disciplines, ultimately reorienting our hearts toward our God.
