When we were younger, what we understood as the devil’s operations were shrines, idols, and the obvious acts that revealed his demonic schemes. It was easy to spot darkness and condemn it. It was easy to identify temptations and be aware of the enemy’s strategies.

But in this generation, the battlefield has shifted. The war is no longer happening on the streets around you — the battlefield is now on your screen.

If you look back, you can remember certain movies that evoked fear and made you overly conscious of the devil. Yes, light and the knowledge of God’s Word have now shown us our true stance in Christ, but what many did not notice is that the present “wickedness” the devil employs against believers is hidden in scrolls and swipes. The devil is now fighting a war without lifting a sword, and he is doing it through the subtle advancement of technology.

Child of God, this is not the time to be careless. Your phone is a battlefield.

Your feed is a battlefield.

Your screen is a battlefield. Your silence is a battlefield.

You cannot afford to be spiritually passive in a world that is digitally aggressive.
