The Foundation of Nurture

This passage is a reminder to us as women that the primary role of a woman is that of a nurturer and caretaker, a role so vital it shapes generations. Every great leader, every president, had a mother whose hands first taught, loved, and disciplined them. This is not a secondary role; it is the foundation of nation-building. Our homes are our first sphere of influence, where we function as an economist, teacher, nurse, and administrator. This day challenges us to value the quiet, consistent work of nurturing, whether it’s for biological children, non-biological children, husbands, or the elderly. Our hands are a gift from God to cultivate life. Let us not limit ourselves, but embrace the full, God-given breadth of this responsibility.
