🎄✝️ the Christmas Tree: From the Cradle to the Cross ✨ 25 Days of Hope!Sample

Day 20: He Bore Our Sins on the Tree — 1 Peter 2:24
🌿 “He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed.”
What was the point of the Cross? Love. Pure, sacrificial, undeserved love. Jesus bore our sins on the tree so we could be free from sin’s penalty and power.
From the beginning of time, every branch in God’s redemptive story pointed toward this moment. From the Garden of Eden to the hill of Calvary, God’s plan of salvation was unfolding—a plan that would bring life out of death and hope out of despair.
Think about the scene: the rough timber pressing against His torn back, the ring of the hammer echoing through the hill of Golgotha, and the words that still shake the heavens—“It is finished.” The One who formed the trees now hung upon one. The Creator of life allowed Himself to be cut down so that, through His death, new life could grow in us.
Every nail, every wound, every word spoken from that Cross revealed the depth of God’s love for you. It wasn’t the nails that kept Him there—it was love. Love is stronger than pain. Love deeper than shame. Love wide enough to stretch from heaven to earth.
This Christmas, as you look upon the lights of your tree, remember another tree—the one that turned darkness into dawn and despair into hope. The Cross is a symbol of God’s great declaration of love: “You are worth dying for.”
✨ Christmas Truth to Ponder: The wood of the cross tells one story—God’s redeeming love.
🙏 Today’s Action Step: Spend a quiet moment thanking Jesus for His sacrifice. Reflect on how His love changes the way you live and love others.
