Day 28 – Adoring God’s Beauty
God’s beauty is not merely aesthetic; it reflects His character, glory, and holiness. The psalmist longs to behold God’s beauty, recognizing that it draws the soul into deeper worship, intimacy, and reverence. His beauty captivates our hearts and reminds us of His nature's majesty, goodness, and splendor.
We don’t often think of His beauty, but the Bible mentions it around 20-30 times. The Grand Canyon is picturesque because it is unique. A volcano is beautiful for its immense power. The universe is striking because of its scale. God is bigger than anything we could ever imagine, more commanding than we can comprehend, and no one is like Him. He is beautiful.
Adoring God for His beauty awakens desire in our hearts to know Him more fully. It encourages us to pause, reflect, and delight in His presence, letting His glory transform how we view the world, others, and ourselves. His beauty is seen in creation, His works, and His love revealed through Jesus Christ.
Worshipping God for His beauty also inspires gratitude and awe. It reminds us that our ultimate satisfaction is found not in material or earthly things, but in the presence of the One who is supremely lovely and perfect in every way.
Today, take time to adore God for His beauty. Seek His presence, reflect on His glory, and let your heart be captivated by the wonder of who He is. Allow this admiration to deepen your love and devotion to Him.
