The Gospel of MarkSample

On this mountain, known as a touch point of heaven and earth, Jesus is shown to be what Dorothy Lee describes as “the keystone” (p9, Transfiguration). Jesus is the meeting point of heaven and earth, God in flesh in order to bring fulfillment to the law and prophets. We know this is a feature of the story because Moses and Elijah appear, representing the law and the prophets in embodied form.
The disciples are told to listen to Jesus in verse 7. Let’s take time to do that today, what is Jesus saying to you?
