## Unreachable Hey Friends, Good morning, afternoon, or night, depending on when you’re reading this. Thank you for stopping by! We're getting close to the end of this reading plan and I've had the best time learning and growing together. But before we come to a close, I have a question for you that has plagued me often... Have you ever felt really far away? Today, do you wonder how anyone could ever love the real you? Do you think, “if they only knew what was really going on, they would never look at me the same?” More often than not, I feel this way. I think, “Today, I've got my stuff together. I'm focused. I put the Lord first. I'm qualified.” But so often I've let the enemy lie to me. I’ve thought, "I'm completely unprepared. I don't feel worthy. I'm so far from perfect. I feel completely alone in this.” Well either way, we've missed the point. On our best days or our worst days, the Bible says to "come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may find mercy and grace to help in our time of need" -Hebrews 4:16. The Bible also says that "He will never leave us, nor forsake us" (Romans 8:39) and "nothing can separate us from His love" (Hebrews 13:5) See, our self-inflicted problems and the things done to us or by us, create lies that make us want to run from our Father instead of to Him. However that is what keeps us alone and in the dark "feeling like we're too far from His reach". Man oh man, thank God for His Word because now we know. He has never gone anywhere and we can never out run His love "where can I run from your spirit, where can I run from your presence?!..."(Psalm 139:7) and He says "with loving-kindness I have drawn you... (Jeremiah 31:3) "Stop running, where you going? Give in to love.” Today, our areas of weakness that have left us alone and feeling too far from grace, can be our biggest strengths as we run to Him and allow His strength to be enough. The blood of Jesus that covers and cleanses, His mercy that is new every morning and His love that never fails makes it possible. "You're not too far away, you can’t fall too far to save, sounds unbelievable, but you're not unreachable. Just take the hand of grace. Your sins have been replaced, by something beautiful.
