Please ExplainSample

Whether you identify as an introvert or an extrovert, humans need relationships. As much as some people want to be alone and have nothing to do with others, we can't survive without others. So how does needing to be in relationships translate into our faith and spiritual lives?
Today's verses come from a letter that Paul wrote to a church. Paul says we are all parts of one body. No, not a literal body, but he means a group of people following Jesus together in this scenario. Paul highlights we all have individual gifts, and when we work together, the amount of Jesus' love we can share with others is unthinkable. When we are connected and working together, we can make a larger impact than we ever could on our own.
Today, think about a way to help respond to what God is inviting you to be a part of. Then, think of a couple of people who might work with you to see it completed.

About this Plan

Some things are hard to understand — like chemistry or verb conjugations. When we face a problem we're struggling to understand, it helps to know someone we trust can explain it to us. Jesus spent time helping his followers understand difficult ideas about God. Jesus did this by using stories and metaphors, called parables. In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum we’ll unpack Jesus’ teachings.
