Ultimately, we can have peace because we know that God will bring us to a desirable end. This means that he has plans for our lives that are good, peaceful, and to prosper us. He’s got every detail planned out for us and we can stand on this in faith, even when our circumstances are uncertain. Since we know this is true, we don’t make judgements about what God is doing in our lives based on the moment. We can have hope that he is always looking ahead along this life’s path, as well as the end of the path.  He is mindful of our individual journeys. In this, we can make the decision to not be shortsighted. Instead, we can trust God’s plans and hope for the ‘after’ that proceeds difficult seasons. We know that God’s plans for us are good and when we let him have his way in our lives, we can experience his peace in any season.
