Love The Lord

Day 3 of 3 • This day’s reading

Devotional

You Choose.

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭24:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It is your choice. You can choose to serve the generational bondages of the past or you can choose to serve God. When you surrender to Christ, the yokes, weight, and bondages of the past are completely destroyed. Even the old pattern and the old way of generations past are destroyed. When you choose to surrender to Christ, and choose to Love Him, with all of your heart — you become brand new. When you are in Christ, your generational Bloodline shifts. Your past is erased and your future is brand new in Him.

What are you holding on to? Who are you holding on to? Do you love God more than the lusts and riches of the world? Do you love God more than the people and the relationships of this world? The people and the things of this world are temporary — God is eternal. Choose to love God. His Love is everlasting. His Love is powerful. His Love is transformative. His Love is endless. Choose to bow and surrender to God. Surrender to His Love. Let His Love flood every area of your life.

It is your choice. Who will you serve? Will you surrender to the lusts, cravings, and appetites of the flesh? Or will you submit your whole heart to God? Choose to love Christ. Let Christ rule every aspect of your heart. Choose to worship the True and Living God and not the gods of this world.

Who is your Lord? Who is lording over your heart? Surrender to Christ. Choose Christ.
