He is My Pastor!
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
If we consider the depth of this verse of Psalm 23, we can find a assurance in Him who is the Lord and savior of our lives. Many know this Chapter by memory and relate back to it in picture frames, doormats and decorative items around the house. However many Pastors and leaders will not teach you the profound message of this verse because of fear that men and women all around will take their eyes off of men and place it on the True Pastor: The Lord God Almighty.
It is wrong for us to place our trust in men and put our full strength in a man when it says The Lord is My Shepherd meaning Pastor. When a man falls its a shame but many fall with him because they put their confidence in him. The leader should let people know that God is the Glory and no one in the congregation has any higher call or purpose but to give God glory. Of course we are not judging nor do we intend to disrespect or rebel against leaders because God is our Pastor, He does appoint leaders. However A leader is just one directs the people to the True Shepherd and he/she will teach the people that He is the one who will control you and lead you. Even when a leader is super busy and cannot recieve a call you understand who is your Pastor, even if the leader is asleep you understand who is your Pastor
We as Pastors can fall and make errors, but God will never fall nor fail. So let us all put our eyes on Him, and lets grow together.
It is all for the Glory of God you and me our saved.
