Good and Evil Invited by GOD
Matthew 22:10So those slaves went out on the roads and gathered everyone they found, both evil and good. The wedding banquet was filled with guests.
The invitees refused to come to the banquet so the slaves were sent for anyone good or evil to come. This doesn't mean that people still filled with sin are going to heaven just because the Jews refused to accept Jesus as the Messiah. It means that GOD accepts all people into His kingdom who obey His will. Jesus always seemed to spend a great deal of time with tax collectors and prostitutes both of which would have been considered very evil, but the redemptive power of His love could make the most evil white as snow (Is 1:18).
What I need to learn is never to discount anyone as a future follower of Christ. I should never assume that someone would never listen to the gospel and therefore refuse to teach them the good news. I must realize that the most religiously clean cut of all will very likely refuse a true relationship with Him. I must ask for wisdom and discernment to know who to teach and how so that GOD is most glorified. I must also remember the great forgiveness I have received and therefore extend the same to others.
GOD of mercy I praise You. Thank You for being so forgiving. Please have mercy on me when I use my human mind to pick and choose who I tell Your good news to. Please open my eyes to see as You do so that I may proclaim Your Word to all those who will hear. Give me eyes to see and them ears to hear. I want to love them as You do. Please also forgive me when I become prideful thinking others are too far beneath me for me to proclaim Your Word to them. Have mercy and lead me in Your path. I surrender to You. All glory be Yours forever in the name of Jesus.
