Trusting God More than Life
"Though he slay me, yet will I trust him: ..."
This is a very powerful statement which brings up an important point: Even good people sometimes suffer and die untimely deaths. We need to keep that in mind as we navigate through this fallen world of sin and corruption; or else we may be in danger of losing the faith.
We need to value our relationship with Jesus beyond adversity and death. Not to mention, it is not what this life has to offer that we look forward to, but eternal life in God's new earth (Rev. 21:1-5).
Keep your eyes on Jesus.
