God hears our cries, but doesn't always come at the moment we want.
The Lord has his own time schedule.. It will be in his timing, not ours!
He teaches through trials.
When we fall, we need to jump back up and press forward toward him!!
Remember that he writes our story, don't be afraid to share it.. for he is glorified when we do! He conquers the world by the blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony!
My share for today- lessons revealed after my last trial Aug 2011
Though I had my spiritual awakening 7 years prior to this trial, I was not exempt from taking the bait of Satan. However, God taught me so much through the pain.
I was deceived by the love and trust I had for others.
(my lesson- I am to love all.. but trust not the devil that guides many people. Study truth more intensely, making it easier for Him to reveal a lie, rather than allowing myself to believe it)
The enemy wants to keep us isolated so we cannot be used to strengthen and grow the body of believers. We may be saved and going to heaven, but we are not living up to our full potential here; Isolation keeps us from experiencing our full inheritance- able to enjoy this life with complete joy/peace.
(lesson- stay connected with other Christian woman. It is helpful for when the enemy tries to attack and get us confused)
Sometimes it is not easy to see clearly when the enemy has us believing lies- But God can use his people to get through to us, helping to see things clearly through the storms of this life.)
When we are offended by others it gives Satan and opportunity to convince us to sin. His lies are not easily seen when we are offended.
(lesson- Always identify and overcome any feelings of bitterness- use godly counsel to help if need be)
To reap a full reward, we must live as obedient children of Christ!
(lesson- Be obedient. Follow the rules of the handbook/bible)
Prayer- Thank You Jesus for your fatherly correction. I'm sorry for getting upset with you when I finally realized the trap I had fallen into. I just couldn't understand why you allowed that to happen to me- someone that loved you so dearly! Thank you for revealing that I was dealing with pride too, in thinking that I was exempt from taking the bait. You strengthen my character in everything you do! Using everything, even my sin, to work out for my good. u amaze me :) Each day you reveal more and more about my identity..who I am "IN YOU"- accepted (forgiven, united with you), secure (no fear, confident), important (chosen/called, faithful servant, able to do all things) and oh so loved! Until tomorrow, Muah
