If I Be Lifted Up, Will Draw All Men Unto Me
When I read 2 Corinthians 2: 14-15, the scripture and if "I be lifted up from the earth will draw all men unto me" came to mind.
Paul informs us that God always gives us the victory through Christ Jesus. We minister to others through bible in hand ministry and also through our lifestyle and everyday living. Our lifestyle and every day living should indicate our "knowledge" of Christ, which means that we know Him, have a deep understanding of Him, are in a relationship with Him, represent Him, look like Him, obey Him and are one with Him. Therefore Our "knowledge" of Christ should draw people to Him like a sweet smelling perfume.
Like when you smell a person wearing a nice smelling perfume or cologne, we should make people turn around when they encounter us, even just briefly. They should be like what is it about that Jim or Jane that I am so drawn to them? They should ask "where did you get That" and tell me more about it. They should be intoxicated and sometimes not know why. When it comes down to it, they will see and find that it is not "us" that they are drawn to, but He who abides in us that they are drawn to. Greater is He that abides in us, that he that is in the world.
Showing our knowledge of Him through our living. What a great way to "lift the Savior up on the earth and He will draw the people unto Him."
When the saved and unsaved are in your presence can they tell that you have the knowledge of Christ? Are they drawn in to the Savior by the sweet savor that exudes from you?
