We love because he first loved us.
We love because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. (1 John 4:19-21 NIV)
Love cannot depend on loveliness, for God saved me who was not and will never be (in this life) lovely. Mother Teresa said the lepers she spent her life serving were " jesus cleverly disguised" what did for the lowly, the out cast, the poor, the unlovely, she did for Christ.
I love because He first loved me, if I hate my brother or sister I am a liar and not a Christ follower, for Christ died for that person, the object of my hate, if I don't love them I can't love Him.
My love for God is manifested in the way I treat people, not likable people, but the most unlikable ones.
Dear Lord, give me your Spirit that I may love those You died for, as you have loved me, in Jesus name amen.
To the merciful You will show mercy.. You will save the humble people, but will bring down high looks.
