This Too Shall Pass
S: "The Lord blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the former part."
O: God has a way of always working it out for the best of His people. Job a mand of great wealth, success, and joy -a buisness man with a heart for God, his family and people -went thru a season of lifethat was seemingly too much to bear. He lost everything but his life -the truth being it would have been easier to have lost his life. But as we wrap up his life's story, we read that God blessed the latter part Job's life even greater that the former.
A: I wonder how many of us give up the good fight too early. Give up on God, faith, hope, love, etc. because of circumstances at the time seem to much to bear. I've go to remember that life happens in seasons -"this too shall pass". I must remember that I'm owed nothing.
I can enjoy the mountain tops while knowing this too shall pass. I can endure the valley knowing this too shall pass. The only constant, and where I anchor my value, hope, & joy, is that in the valley or on the Mountain I am my God's and He is good. He is for me and not against me.
P: Father, thank you that you are with me wherever I go. Whether in the valley or the mountain top you are with me and I am your son. You are good to me and your love never fails. As with Job, let the latter part of my life be blessed far beyond the former. In Jesus' strong name I pray, AMEN!!!
