The Leader & Learning: Al Mohler
We stake our lives on our convictions; it's eddy keeps us going and gets us out of the bed in the morning.
CONVICTIONAL LEADERSHIP INVOLVES THE TRANSFERENCE OF INTELLECTUAL IDEAS TO OTHERS
You have to teach men how to talk; it isn't our natural inclination.
The convictional leader must be good at communicating, through speaking & writing. We are either eye or ear people, and so if we are merely one or the other, we cannot be nearly as effective. Using words rightly involves convictional intelligence.
Faithfulness involves a convictional intelligence
Convictional intelligence- Thinking deeply on decisions based on the scripture and being able to explain how & why to others.
HOW DOES THE LEADER GET TO THIS POINT? LEARNING
2 Timothy 2:15 ESV
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
