Fear God Not Man
S - Saul said to Samuel, "I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice. (1 Samuel 15:24 ESV)
O - Samuel was rebuking Saul and Saul's reply was excuses rather than repentance. He was more afraid of what the people wanted than of God.
A - I must always remember, following my fear of the people will always take me away from what God desires of me. In order to be a godly leader I must not allow my fear of the people to direct me. Rather I must always be obedient to God.
P - Father, oh how I desire to be a man after your own heart. May I be known as one who always follows you. Teach me your ways and I will follow.
