I never liked the saying keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Why would anyone want a person around them that is going to hurt them, put them down, cause havoc in their life, and just cause your soul to fall short of the glory of God? Let me change the saying. Pull your friends close and push your enemies closer to God. You can do that by praying for them, not treating them the way they once did you, if it calls for it maybe even giving them a little help. The nice act that you give them may actually prick their evil heart and bring them to God. They dont understand why you were so nice to them after they did you so wrong. Then Jesus' glory can shine within you that they may even and hopefully become closer to God. In prayer that they will look at you and say only God could have touched your heart in a way to bless me. I am speaking from experience. A family member of mine hurt me by spreading rumors, and just being so hurtful that I lost my job because of their hateful ways. l was out of work for ten months. My God took care of me and even blessed me with a job that pays more HELLO. When that family member came to me in need, I thought I would be mean but all I wanted to do was help. When God blesses you in a trial, no need to stay mad. You can get mad but dont STAY mad. Enemies can be family members too not just random people. But in the end know that it wasnt them but the ultimate enemy that serpent the devil. When you are faced with an enemy, hand them over to God , cause he knows exactly what to do with them. God bless you and follow me on youversion I have more stories to tell.
