Jesus is the fulfillment of Moses and the prophets
Luke wrote a historical narrative about the birth of the church and the new ministry of the Holy Spirit for Theophilus. Paul stood before Roman governor Porcius Festus and Herod Agrippa I and gave his testimony of how he met the resurrected, exalted Jesus on the road to Damascus and how that event changed his life. He went from being a persecutor of the church to being an apostle and servant of Jesus. He clearly stated that the Way was not a religion but was in alignment and the fulfillment of the Law and the prophets. Luke's summary seems to allude to the servant songs in Isaiah.
Luke consistently portrays that Christians were falsely accused of violating laws but were always innocent. Paul was no exception. He, like Jesus, was accused of blasphemy while in reality he was preaching the truth. Jesus was the Messiah and prophet that Moses and the prophets foretold. Christianity wasn't supposed to be a new religion. It was the completion of Scripture, which second temple Judaism veered away from. Most of the religious leaders were too focused on how they thought Scripture should be fulfilled that they missed God incarnate and revealed walking amongst them.
God has revealed Himself to humanity generally through creation and specifically through His word and through Jesus. Jesus is the Word. No one comes to the Father except through Him. Only in Him is life found. Eternal life is a free gift through faith in Jesus. This is the good news that must be shared.
