Ps 22:1 - My God
When David cried out "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" he wasn't denying God and rebelling against Him. Jesus said the same thing when He was on the Cross, and yet it was not an act of faithlessness or anger towards God that propelled Him to say it. Both David and Jesus began their question with a very key phrase - "My God." What they were saying is that regardless of the fact that I feel forsaken right now and I know you have withdrawn from me temporarily (God had to turn His back on Jesus) You are still MY GOD! You're mine!
