Today, we’ll finish our Christmas Together series. We'll look at how the Old Testament prophet Isaiah foretold of Jesus coming and the background that even further reveals the hope that Christ brought.
Isaiah 9:6-7
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.
A King is Coming v. 6

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.
He was in the beginning with God because He was God in the beginning.
Are you looking for a loving, faithful father in your life? Here He is.
Prince of Peace
We cannot have the welfare, the contentment, the health and the absence of war that is peace until the war itself is won.
This Prince of Peace will bring peace in your life, but you must ask Him to do that. Have you met Him and surrendered yourself to Him?
A Kingdom is Coming v. 7
It looks like the king! It reflects Him in His character and glory!
Philippians 3:20
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ…
Ceaseless Peace
…no end of His government and of peace... v. 7
Isaiah 9:7
...from then on and forevermore.
Revelation 21:4
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain…
Complete Justice.
To establish it and uphold it with justice v. 7

Crystal-clear Righteousness
