One of the first bible verses I memorized when I got saved was Phil 4:13 – I can do everything through him who gives me strength. I like the word “everything”. In some versions it says, “all things”. With God’s strength we can do everything or all things! This is a great truth to hold onto because we know that He is the One we ultimately get our strength from to accomplish all we need to do. Paul learned to be content in any situation or circumstance because he knew God was with him and would give him the strength he needed to do His will. God’s strength is also available to us.

4. The secret to finding strength in God
- We find strength in God by resting and waiting on him.

5. Ways to strengthen ourselves in the Lord
- Acknowledge that we are weak
- Read and meditate on his word
- Replace lies with the truth
- Pray
- Worship
- Be empowered by the Holy Spirit
- Fellowship
