Today, at this moment, Christians find themselves in an "in between" time. Right now, God has given to us the fullness of His love, grace, and mercy in Jesus Christ our Savior. These gifts are ours by faith through the power of the Holy Spirit working in our hearts and lives. However, we have not yet received the full and complete experience of our salvation. This series will explore the now/not yet realities for our Christian life.

"Now/Not Yet: Justice"
The Twenty-Fourth Sunday after Pentecost
How long, O Lord? This is a cry for justice.
Zephaniah's prophecy assures God's people that justice will come.
Can anyone slip through the net of God's justice cast in Zephaniah's prophecy?
"A person is good not by avoiding those evils he already finds horrible, but by avoiding those evils that he finds attractive and available" (Marc Barnes, “Historical Ignorance, Moral Arrogance,” First Things, December 2017).
God has delivered justice through the cross of Jesus Christ.
For everyone who puts their faith in Jesus as their Savior from sin, Judgment Day has already happened.
"This world’s prince may still
Scowl fierce as he will,
He can harm us none.
He’s judged; the deed is done;
One little word can fell him" (LSB 656:3).
