How You See Meنموونە

How do you see me?
One day, while I was praying to the Lord, I could feel His eyes upon me, so I had to do some self-examination, and I asked myself: What is Jesus seeing in me? Immediately, my faults, complaints, and everything that grieves His heart came to mind. But He then changed the question and said to me, it's not what I'm seeing in you, but how I see you.
At that moment, I remembered a documentary I had seen as a child, which showed how human beings see the world around us. Our eyes perceive images on the retina upside down, but once they pass through the optic nerve, reach the brain, and are processed, we can see them the right way around.
Here, I understood that light enters our eyes, reaches the retina, and we see images upside down, so we can only see what is wrong with us. God wants that image to pass through His optic nerve, and in that transformation by His blood, we can see the true image of who we are. His special treasure, the apple of His eye, that we may understand that He loves us with eternal love… That is the image Jesus sees of us!

Through this reading plan, the Lord wants you to stop seeing yourself as the world sees you. Allow the distorted image you have of yourself to pass through God's optic nerve so that you will have a complete understanding of God's plans and purposes for your life, with the ability to see yourself the way He sees you.
