It emphasizes that God’s commands are purposeful and transformative, not arbitrary. Followers of Jesus are called to pursue reconciliation, endure opposition with faithfulness, and find identity in Christ even amid suffering. Ultimately, the Beatitudes reframe hardship by pointing believers toward eternal reward and deeper communion with God.
