The Risen Saviour and His Churchنموونە

In John chapter 20, when Peter and John hear that Jesus’ body is no longer in the tomb, they do not yet understand what it means. Still unsure, they run with all their strength to see for themselves. What they are about to discover is not that Jesus is missing—but that He is risen. This truth will change everything about their lives from that moment on. It is also a truth meant to change everything about ours.

John reaches the tomb and sees the burial cloths lying there. This is no grave robbery. The body that was once wrapped in those cloths is alive again—and John believes.

How do you run to Jesus?

Do you run with everything in you, eager to see for yourself if what is said about Jesus—the risen King—is true? Or do you carry on with your normal routine, largely unaffected by the truth that the Savior has risen?

This Easter season, are you willing to run to Jesus again and allow belief to reshape your heart?
