The Hunger After the Fast
Spiritual hunger is not the craving during the fast; it rises after intense spiritual engagement. Jesus fasted 40 days, yet Scripture says He became hungry only afterwards. This hunger is the craving to manifest, to birth what God deposited. The enemy waits for this moment — the moment you’re ready to step forward — to derail you. The solution: satisfy spiritual hunger only through the written Word. You cannot feed this hunger with performance, pressure, or proving yourself. “Man shall not live by bread alone.”

I choose the Word over performance. My hunger will not become a temptation.
Prayer
Lord, awaken in me holy hunger that only Your Word can satisfy. Keep my motives pure and my heart anchored in Scripture. Amen.
