God often leads His people into the wilderness—a place of trials, troubles, and temptation. He doesn’t lead us there because He’s against us or to punish us, but to reveal Himself and prepare us for the good plans He has for us. As hard as desert seasons can be, God uses these times in Scripture and in our lives to prove His faithfulness and grow our faith in Him. Through these biblical characters—Hagar, Moses, David, Elijah, and Hosea—we learn ways God worked for His people in the wilderness.
