Reflection:

The Apostle Peter encouraged believers facing persecution with a simple truth: “The Word of the Lord remains forever.” Empires, rulers, and ideologies have come and gone, but the Word of God stands unmoved. When everything else changes, His truth remains our anchor.

Psalm 119 declares, Your eternal word, O Lord, stands firm in heaven (NLT). God’s promises are not dependent on culture, politics, or opinion. His Word is eternal, unshakable, and trustworthy. Every generation has witnessed attempts to silence or distort it, yet the Bible endures because its Author is alive.

When your circumstances shift or your faith feels fragile, go back to Scripture. Let its eternal truths steady your heart. God’s Word not only reveals who He is—it reminds you who you are in Him.

Eternal Father, thank You that Your Word never fails. Anchor me in Your truth when the world feels uncertain, and remind me that Your promises endure forever.
