When we are tempted to believe lies about ourselves—that we lack value, we aren’t skilled or experienced, we’re too weak to make a difference, God has no use for us—it is wise to counter them with the promises of God’s Word: that He loves, cherishes, and has a vital role for each of us in His plans.
