Day 2: Rest in Him

Are you tired and thirsty for spiritual well-being? In a world frenetic with busyness, demands, and to-do lists, the Lord invites you to enter into His rest. He is a protective and caring Shepherd to His flock, and leads us to peaceful, life-giving pastures and calm, replenishing waters. True rest is only found in Jesus Christ. He calls us to experience His presence through scripture, prayer, and worship. Take time to drink deep of God's refreshing presence, linger in His Word, and rest in Him today.

Prayer: Lord, bathe me with your peace and refreshment. Draw me into your presence, and revive and fill me afresh with your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, Amen.
