The Family Business: Living Like Jesus. Loving Like Jesus. Leading Like Jesus.نموونە

Loving People Well
Loving people sounds great... until you actually have to do it.
It's beautiful in theory, messier in practice. People can be difficult, inconvenient, exhausting. Sometimes they hurt you. Sometimes they don't deserve it. Sometimes you're running on empty yourself.
But here's what Jesus said would mark His followers: love. Not our words, our platforms, or our positions. Our love.
The night before the cross, Jesus washed His disciples' feet—including Judas, who would betray Him. Then He said, "By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another." This wasn't a suggestion. It was His final exam for following Him.
If you're in the family business, you're in the business of loving people.
Jesus didn't just preach love—He embodied it. He welcomed outcasts, called sinners, restored the broken. He fed the hungry, healed the sick, wept with the grieving. He made time for the unnoticed and forgave from the cross. His love wasn't passive emotion. It moved. It served. It sacrificed.
First John 4:11 reminds us why: "Since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another." We love because we've been loved. We give because we've received. We show grace because we've been shown grace.
This kind of love is the family business. It chooses to stay present when it's hard. It forgives when it hurts. It shows up without needing credit. And it points people straight to the heart of God.
You don't need a platform to love well. You just need to pay attention—really see the people around you. Listen. Show up with grace. Let the Spirit lead you to action.
Reflection Question: Who in my life needs to feel seen, heard, or valued today?
Prayer: Lord, teach me to love like You do—with grace, patience, and purpose. Open my eyes to someone who needs Your love through me today. Help me show them who You are by how I show up. Amen.
Tomorrow, we'll explore what you're really chasing—and how to trade empty applause for eternal purpose.
