Living as Citizens of Heaven
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:20 (ESV)
Living as citizens of heaven means constantly realigning our lives with God’s will. Our identity, lifestyle, and hope are all anchored in this heavenly citizenship. This world is not our ultimate home; we are here to reflect God’s kingdom until Christ returns. Let us live with an eternal perspective, making choices that honor God and point others to Him.
What changes do you need to make to live more fully as a citizen of heaven?
Prayer: Father God, I want to live each day with an eternal perspective, fully embracing my identity as a citizen of heaven. Guide my steps, renew my mind, and fill my heart with hope as I await the return of my Savior. Help me to be a light in this world, reflecting Your love and truth to those around me. In Jesus name, Amen.
