Our Lifestyle of Citizens of Heaven
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. Colossians 3:1-2 (ESV)
As citizens of heaven, we are called to live differently from the world. Our thoughts, actions, and attitudes should reflect our heavenly values. Instead of conforming to the patterns of this world, we are to seek God’s will in all we do, letting His Word guide our decisions and behavior.
In what areas of your life do you need to align more closely with the values of heaven?
Prayer: Father God, I desire to live a life that honors You. Help me to set my mind on things above and to live out the values of Your kingdom in my everyday life. Transform my heart and mind so that I may reflect Your love and truth in all I do. In Jesus name, Amen.
