Abide - John 15نموونە

A trellis is a wooden structure that helps a vine grow and produce fruit. Let's use this as an analogy for two aspects of the Christian life that help us to remain in Jesus: church and spiritual disciplines.
The Church is often referred to in the New Testament as “the Body of Christ.” We can literally live out abiding in Jesus by remaining in the church community as it gathers each week. Followers of Jesus gather to, amongst other things, receive the life giving blood of Jesus in Communion. Can we remain in Jesus without this?
Secondly, spiritual disciplines teach us to think and live how Jesus modeled for us. My Local practices six rhythms: prayer, fasting, preaching, studying, sabbath, generosity. How can we continue to build this trellis in our lives?
