Three Ways to Keep the Sabbath, According to Jesusنموونە

Praying in Church
Jesus rested on the seventh day of creation and gave the Ten Commandments to Moses. The commandment 'Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy', is observed by the Jews to this day.
When Jesus came, He was born a Jew and followed the commandment. The Bible says that he used to go to synagogue on the Sabbath.
The women who followed him also rested on the day of his death according to the commandment. Even after his ascension, the disciples preached in the synagogues. So the first way of keeping the Sabbath, according to Jesus, is the most traditional: praying in church.
But what about work? Pastors who earn their living by preaching, isn't that work? Jesus addressed this by saying, 'Have you not read in the Law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple break the Sabbath and are blameless?' That is why we believe that the work of the church can be done on the Sabbath.
