ئینجا یەهوزایەکی دیکە، کە یەهوزای ئەسخەریوتی نەبوو، لێی پرسی: «گەورەم، بۆچی دەتەوێ خۆت بۆ ئێمە دەربخەیت، بەڵام بۆ جیهان نا؟» عیسا وەڵامی دایەوە: «ئەوەی منی خۆشبوێ کار بە وتەکانم دەکات، باوکیشم خۆشی دەوێت و من و باوک دێینە لای و لەلای ئەویش نیشتەجێ دەبین. ئەوەش کە منی خۆشناوێت کار بە وتەکانم ناکات. ئەم وتانەی گوێتان لێی دەبێت هی من نییە، بەڵکو هی ئەو باوکەیە کە ناردوومی. «ئەمانەم پێ گوتن کە هێشتا لەلاتانم. بەڵام یارمەتیدەرەکە، ڕۆحی پیرۆز، ئەوەی باوک بە ناوی منەوە دەینێرێت، ئەو هەموو شتێکتان فێردەکات و هەموو ئەو شتانەی پێم گوتوون بیرتان دەخاتەوە. «ئاشتیتان بۆ بەجێدەهێڵم، ئاشتی خۆمتان دەدەمێ. ئەوەی من دەتاندەمێ وەک ئەوە نییە کە جیهان دەتانداتێ. نیگەران مەبن و مەترسن.
