دانیالیش وەڵامی دایەوە: «ئەی پاشا، هەتاهەتایە هەر بژی! خوداکەم فریشتەکەی خۆی نارد و دەمی شێرەکانی داخست، هیچ زیانیان پێ نەگەیاندم، چونکە لەبەردەم ئەو بێتاوان بووم. ئەی پاشا، لەبەردەم تۆشدا هیچ تاوانێکم نەکردووە.» پاشا دڵی خۆش بوو، فەرمانی دا دانیال لە چاڵەکە سەربخەن. دانیال لە چاڵەکەوە سەرخرا و هیچ زیانێکی پێ نەگەیشتبوو، چونکە پشتی بە خودای خۆی بەست. ئینجا پاشا فەرمانی دا، ئەو پیاوانەیان هێنا کە سکاڵایان لە دانیال کرد و فڕێیان دانە ناو چاڵی شێرەکان، خۆیان و ژن و منداڵەکانیان. هێشتا نەگەیشتبوونە بن چاڵەکە، شێرەکان پەلاماریان دان و هەموو ئێسکەکانیان تێکشکاندن. دوای ئەوە داریوشی پاشا ئەمەی بۆ هەموو گەل و نەتەوە و خەڵکی هەموو زمانەکان نووسی کە لە هەموو زەویدا نیشتەجێن: هەر سەرکەوتوو بن! لە منەوە فەرمان دەرچووە بەوەی کە لە هەموو ناوچەکانی ژێر دەسەڵاتی مندا، دەبێت خەڵک لە خودای دانیال بترسن و ڕێزی لێ بگرن. لەبەر ئەوەی ئەو خودای زیندووە و بۆ هەتاهەتایە دەمێنێت، پاشایەتییەکەی لەناو ناچێت و دەسەڵاتی بێ کۆتاییە. ئەو ڕزگار دەکات و دەرباز دەکات، نیشانە و کاری سەرسوڕهێنەر دەکات لە ئاسمان و لەسەر زەوی. ئەو دانیالی لە چنگی شێرەکان ڕزگار کرد. ئیتر دانیال لە پاشایەتی داریوش و لە پاشایەتی کۆرشی فارسی سەرکەوتوو بوو.
