بەڵام دانیال لە دڵی خۆیدا بڕیاری دابوو کە خۆی بە خواردن و شەرابی پاشایەتییەوە گڵاو نەکات، جا داوای لە سەرۆکی کاربەدەستان کرد کە دەرفەتی پێبدات بۆ ئەوەی خۆی گڵاو نەکات. خوداش وای لە سەرۆکی کاربەدەستان کرد کە چاکە و میهرەبانی بە دانیال ببەخشێت. بەڵام سەرۆکی کاربەدەستان بە دانیالی گوت: «من لە پاشای گەورەم دەترسم، ئەوەی خواردن و خواردنەوەی ئێوەی دیاری کردووە. ئەگەر ببینێ ڕوخسارتان لە ڕوخساری گەنجە هاوتەمەنەکانتان لاوازترە، پاشا بەهۆی ئێوەوە سەرم دەبڕێت.» دانیالیش بەو سەرپەرشتیارەی گوت کە سەرۆکی کاربەدەستان بەسەر دانیال و حەنەنیا و میشائیل و عەزەریاوە داینابوو: «تکایە بۆ دە ڕۆژ خزمەتکارەکانت تاقی بکەوە: تەنها ڕووەکمان بدەرێ بیخۆین و ئاومان بدەرێ بیخۆینەوە. پاشان ڕوخساری ئێمە لەگەڵ ڕوخساری ئەو گەنجانە بەراورد بکە کە خواردنی پاشایەتی دەخۆن، ئینجا بەگوێرەی ئەوەی دەیبینی ئاوامان لەگەڵ بکە.» ئەویش بەمە ڕازی بوو و دە ڕۆژ تاقی کردنەوە. لە کۆتایی دە ڕۆژەکەدا دەرکەوت ڕوخساریان باشتر و تەندروستترە لە هەموو ئەو گەنجانەی لە خواردنەکانی پاشایەتییان دەخوارد. ئینجا سەرپەرشتیارەکەیان خواردنە تایبەت و شەرابەکەی هەڵدەگرت و لە جیاتی ئەوە ڕووەکی دەدانێ. بەڵام ئەو چوار گەنجە، خودا زانین و تێگەیشتنی دانێ لە هەموو جۆرە ڕۆشنبیری و زانیارییەک، دانیالیش لە هەموو بینین و خەونێک تێدەگەیشت. لە کۆتایی ئەو ماوەیەی کە پاشا دیاری کردبوو بیانهێننە بەردەمی، سەرۆکی کاربەدەستان ئەوانی هێنایە بەردەم نەبوخودنەسر. پاشا قسەی لەگەڵدا کردن، لەنێو هەموویاندا کەس نەبوو وەک دانیال و حەنەنیا و میشائیل و عەزەریا. لەبەر ئەوە چوونە ڕیزی خزمەتکارانی پاشا. پاشا لە هەموو بابەتێکی دانایی و تێگەیشتن پرسیاری لێکردن، بینی ئەوان دە هێندە لە سەرووی هەموو جادووگەر و ئەفسونگەرانی هەموو پاشایەتییەکەی ئەون. دانیالیش هەتا ساڵی یەکەمی کۆرشی پاشا لەوێ مایەوە.
