The Good Newsনমুনা

Welcome to this eight-week study on The Good News. Each week will have a focus passage and move through the biblical narrative in sections. Scripture depicts a good world that becomes corrupted; the story that unfolds reveals how God will ultimately put things right. This is most wonderfully seen in Jesus, who came announcing a gospel that the kingdom of God had come near to humanity. In this study, we want to examine the roots of the good news so that we can faithfully live the gospel today.
We begin in Genesis. Often, understandings of the gospel start with Genesis 3: the problem. The gospel, however, begins with God’s good creation and humanity’s vocation to reflect His image.
As we read Genesis this week, notice God's initial plan for humans in both accounts of creation (Genesis 1-2:3, Genesis 2:4-25). Each account highlights different ways in which humans were to reflect God's image.
