Day One - God Watches Over Us. Hello mini Fear Busters! We hope you're enjoying following our journey with the Fear Busters! Remember you can watch this week's episode on YouTube! We are on such an exciting journey with the Fear Busters!  We have learnt so much about how to overcome our fears. Tell us what your favourite part has been so far? Welcome to the final part of our Fear Busters devotional series! Today we are learning that God watches over us. READ: ‘The Lost Sheep’ in the Beginners Bible (page 391-396) or in Matthew 18:10-14. Jesus told the people that a shepherd will look after His sheep and make sure that they are all safe. God looks after you like this too! People were wondering who was the most important to God and so Jesus told them a Parable, which is another word for story - about a shepherd and his sheep. Jesus told the people to think about what a shepherd does for their sheep - a shepherd watches over his sheep and makes sure they have plenty of food and water. Sometimes we can forget that God watches over us and that He takes care of everything that we need. We can become sad and afraid about everything that is going on in the world around us.  But, let's remember that God is our good Shepherd; He will always lead us into good things, He will give us everything we need. ASK: How does God watch over you? Write down some of the ways that God has looked after you. Thank God for everything He has done. REMEMBER: Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy good food and sweet drinks. Send some to people who have none. Today is a holy day to the Lord. Don’t be sad. The joy of the Lord will make you strong.” (Nehemiah 8:10 ICB) We do not need to be afraid about anything! God will completely fill us with joy and peace. We can trust Him! SAY - FEARBUSTER PRAYER: You are bigger than my fears, you wipe away my tears. I have a voice to pray, you teach me what to say. I am brave because of you. This sickness just won't do. We tell it now to QUIT! We've had enough of it.
