1Hallelujah!
I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart
in the company of decent people and in the congregation.
2The Lord’s deeds are spectacular.
They should be studied by all who enjoy them.
3His work is glorious and majestic.
His righteousness continues forever.
4He has made his miracles unforgettable.
The Lord is merciful and compassionate.
5He provides food for those who fear him.
He always remembers his promise.#111:5 Or “covenant.”
6He has revealed the power of his works to his people
by giving them the lands of other nations as an inheritance.
7His works are done with truth and justice.
All his guiding principles are trustworthy.
8They last forever and ever.
They are carried out with truth and decency.
9He has sent salvation to his people.
He has ordered that his promise should continue forever.
His name is holy and terrifying.
10The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
Good sense is shown by everyone who follows ⌞God’s guiding principles⌟.
His praise continues forever.

111
1Praise ye Jah! I thank Jehovah with the whole heart, In the secret meeting of the upright, And of the company.
2Great [are] the works of Jehovah, Sought out by all desiring them.
3Honourable and majestic is His work, And His righteousness is standing for ever.
4A memorial He hath made of His wonders, Gracious and merciful [is] Jehovah.
5Prey He hath given to those fearing Him, He remembereth to the age His covenant.
6The power of His works He hath declared to His people, To give to them the inheritance of nations.
7The works of His hands [are] true and just, Stedfast [are] all His appointments.
8They are sustained for ever to the age. They are made in truth and uprightness.
9Redemption He hath sent to His people, He hath appointed to the age His covenant, Holy and fearful [is] His name.
10The beginning of wisdom [is] fear of Jehovah, Good understanding have all doing them, His praise [is] standing for ever!
