Jonah 2:6-7

In this 4-part devotional, Pastor Dylan Dodson teaches through the book of Jonah. This plan will help you see God’s faithfulness, and that no one is beyond His grace and mercy.

Jonah’s story reminds us that God’s compassion extends to both the prideful prophet and the wicked unbeliever. Despite all of Jonah’s resistance and hard-heartedness, God’s merciful message of repentance was still delivered to the Ninevites. The Ninevites' repentance shows us nothing can thwart God's plans of redemption.

The Book of Jonah provides deep insights into how we should respond to God's calling in our lives. Too often we find ourselves running away from God and His purpose. We have blind spots and are easily distracted. The good news is Jesus is merciful, and God’s power is evident in our weaknesses. We can fully trust Jesus in every aspect of our lives. God wants to fill our minds with clarity, our hearts with kindness, and our souls with passion. We are designed to receive God’s Word and share it with others. Are you ready to embrace your calling?

Depression is real, and many people struggle with it. This video series is meant to encourage you and let you know that God always gives you good reasons to keep going.
